1. Definitions

• "Company", "we", "us", "our" refers to CONSCIOUS SPROUTS, a health food business based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
• "You", "your", "customer" refers to the person accessing our website or purchasing products
• "Products" refers to our sprouted ragi (finger millet) food products including health mixes, baby food, malt powder, and combo packs
• "Website" refers to conscioussprouts.com and all associated subdomains

2. Eligibility

By using our website, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age, or are using the website under the supervision of a parent/guardian
• You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under Indian law
• You provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and checkout

3. Products & FSSAI Compliance

• All our products are manufactured in an FSSAI-licensed facility
• FSSAI License Number is displayed on every product pack
• Product images on the website are for illustration purposes. Actual product may vary slightly in colour due to natural ingredients
• Nutritional information and ingredient lists on the physical pack are authoritative — website data is for reference only
• Health claims made on our website are based on published nutritional research on finger millet (ragi) and are not intended as medical advice
• Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease

4. Pricing & Payments

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and inclusive of applicable GST
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice (except for items already in your cart)
• We reserve the right to cancel orders placed at incorrect/erroneous prices
• Accepted payment methods: UPI, Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), Net Banking, Wallets, and Cash on Delivery (COD)
• Payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS compliant partners (Razorpay, Juspay, Cashfree)
• COD orders may require phone verification before dispatch

5. Orders & Delivery

• Orders are confirmed only after successful payment or COD verification
• We ship pan-India via Delhivery. Estimated delivery: 3-7 business days (metros), 5-10 business days (remote areas)
• Free shipping on orders ₹499 and above. Flat ₹49 shipping on orders below ₹499
• Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control (weather, strikes, natural calamities)
• We are not liable for delays caused by incorrect shipping addresses provided by you
• Order tracking is available via the "Track Order" page using your order ID

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

• You may cancel an order before it is dispatched by contacting us on WhatsApp or email
• Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible — you may refuse delivery for a refund
• Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method
• No returns on opened or partially used food products due to food safety regulations

7. Allergen & Dietary Information

• Our products contain ragi (finger millet) and may contain gluten traces from shared processing equipment
• Some products may contain peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, or soy — always check the ingredient list on the pack
• If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, consult your healthcare provider before consumption
• Baby food products should be introduced only after consulting your pediatrician

8. Intellectual Property

• All content on this website (text, images, logos, designs, product names) is owned by CONSCIOUS SPROUTS and protected under Indian Copyright Act, 1957
• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our written consent
• The CONSCIOUS SPROUTS logo and brand name are trademarks of the Company

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose
• Provide false or misleading information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

• Post or transmit harmful, defamatory, or objectionable content

10. Limitation of Liability

• Our liability for any claim arising from the use of our products or website shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product in question
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for adverse reactions from food products if consumed against the recommended usage instructions or allergen warnings

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CONSCIOUS SPROUTS, its founders, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our products or violation of these terms.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India
• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka
• We encourage resolving disputes through amicable negotiation before resorting to legal proceedings
• For consumer complaints, you may also approach the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, supply chain disruptions, or war.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
